Stephanie Greene
Teacher/Dance Team Coordinator
Stephanie began dancing at age 5 and has since trained in many styles of dance including tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, ballet/pointe, modern, and Irish step. Notable teachers include Julia Boynton (director of the Beantown Tapfest), April Cook (member of Savion Glover’s company), and Frank Hatchett (one of the pioneers of modern jazz dance).
Stephanie was the founder and first director of Footnotes, a tap company for high school students. In college, she frequently choreographed for the MIT Dance Troupe. She has also worked with Girl Scouts to earn their dance badge, choreographed and cleaned routines for school talent shows and competitions, and taught and assistant taught dance classes for all levels in a variety of venues around the tri-state area.
Stephanie aims to foster a fun and supportive environment as she believes students learn best when they are happy and comfortable. She loves to help students master new skills and grow their confidence as they tackle new challenges. Stephanie has been at the Rose Academy of Ballet since 2019 and loves working with so many kind and talented dancers!
